CM Revanth Launches State-of-the-Art Telangana Public School in Arutla

Published on

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy expressed his aspiration that the Telangana Model School, launched in Arutla village by him on Wednesday with the resolve to completely transform the opinion that only orphans and the economically destitute attend government schools, and to unearth diamonds from the soil, should stand as an inspiration to the world of students.

In a manner that in no way falls short of corporate standards, with world-class benchmarks and state-of-the-art facilities, the Chief Minister inaugurated the #TelanganaPublicSchool, meticulously established in Arutla of Rangareddy district. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also launched the breakfast scheme to provide breakfast to students.

Speaking at the meeting organized on this occasion, the Chief Minister said that the Arutla Public School would serve as an inspiration to the 2.7 million girl and boy students studying in government schools across the state, and extended congratulations to the school’s girl and boy students, teachers, and management committee.

“The suspicion and disbelief entrenched in everyone’s minds that a government school means something inferior must be shattered. We must build confidence in families to send their children to government schools. With a grand resolve that those who study in government schools can excel as doctors, lawyers, engineers, IAS, IPS officers, let us establish this school. The Arutla School should stand as a role model and an inspiration for Telangana,” he stated.

“I firmly believe that the Arutla Telangana Public School will set an example by steering the destructive #Telangana education policy toward development. We must show anyone who comes how this school stands as a role model. I urge the people to fully support this magnificent endeavor,” the Chief Minister appealed.

“Development does not lie in colorful walls on dirt paths. Telangana’s future lies in classrooms. I completely believe that investment in education is an investment in the future. It is through education that we must bring about change in society and eradicate backwardness and inequalities,” he emphasized.

He stated that out of the state’s budget exceeding three lakh crore, more than 8 percent—approximately 26,000 crore rupees—is being spent on the education sector for the future of students.

“When 1,814 children joined the school from pre-primary to intermediate, there were no empty seats, admissions were fully completed, and the situation has arisen where a ‘full house’ board can be placed outside the government school—I congratulate the committee for this. Teachers have stood as great role models for Telangana society,” the Chief Minister congratulated them.

“Taking the experiences from establishing the #Arutla Public School as lessons into consideration, there is a need to develop other schools even better in the future. We fully believe that those who study in these schools will emerge as future leaders tomorrow,” he expressed optimism.

“The roles of Arutla Ramachandra Reddy and Arutla Kamaladevi in the Telangana Armed Struggle cannot be forgotten. That is why we are establishing a school here. We have undertaken this program with the goal of including the people of Arutla village and parents in school management committees to provide education to every poor person,” he explained.

“Studying in government schools is not a mark of childhood poverty. Not just as Chief Minister, but many great figures in the country have all studied in government schools. Welfare schemes alone cannot change the future. If our future is to change, if parents are to live with self-respect, they must educate their children. Only through education will our village, our state, and our country gain recognition,” he advised.

“No matter how much criticism we face, our resolve is to move forward with education reforms and provide the best education from KG to PG. Along with education, we are promoting sports. Instead of starting separate schools for different castes and building walls of caste and class divisions, with the aim of bidding farewell to such policies, we have undertaken the construction of Young India Integrated Residential Schools (#YIIRS),” the Chief Minister said.

Explaining about the school kits, the Chief Minister said, “We are having kits—including quality school dresses, shoes, socks, bedsheets, and school bags for students in government schools—prepared to international standards in collaboration with international institutions. We have called for tenders worth Rs. 688 crore. The work is underway. We will start distributing them from the end of July.”

“Drug use has become a pandemic. There is a need to control these evil habits. On the 19th of this month, at LB Stadium in the presence of the Governor, we are conducting a program where thousands of girl and boy students will take a pledge against drugs, to raise awareness among students about drug control.”

The Chief Minister urged students to immediately inform the police if they come across information about anyone using ganja or other narcotic substances.

“In the context where white-collar jobs worldwide are at risk due to AI, with the aim of imparting skills and providing blue-collar jobs, we have launched the Skills University. It is heartening that in the very first year, everyone has secured employment and livelihood opportunities with good prospects,” he remarked.

“From a country with a population of 140 crore, we are unable to excel in #Olympics sports. The fact that we cannot even win a single gold medal is a situation that demands introspection. That is why we have started a Sports University on a public-private model. To inspire students and athletes, we brought football world icon #LionelMessi to Hyderabad,” he recalled.

He stated that this school should serve as a model and stand as an inspiration across the four corners of Telangana. The government is striving to provide quality education along with employment and job opportunities to the 2.7 million students studying in government schools.
