Don’t Pay Single Rupee for Govt Welfare Schemes: Sarvotham Reddy

Suryapet: AICC Member Ramreddy Sarvotham Reddy stated that there is no need for anyone to pay even a single rupee to avail the welfare schemes being provided by the people’s government. He said he would make every effort to ensure that every eligible homeless person in the constituency receives an Indiramma house.

On Friday, in Bandameedi Chandupatla village of Chivvemla Mandal, along with Mandal Party President Dharavath Veeranna Naik and Sarpanch Gayam Udayasri Chandrasekhar Reddy, he inaugurated the Indiramma houses of beneficiaries Panthangi Priyanka–Anvesh and Shiga Saidamma–Srinu.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the government’s objective is to provide permanent housing to every homeless poor family and that Indiramma houses would be sanctioned to all eligible beneficiaries in a phased manner.

He also highlighted several welfare schemes being implemented by the Congress government, including the Mahalakshmi Scheme for women’s economic empowerment, Rythu Bharosa for farmers, free electricity, 200 units of free power for domestic consumers, LPG cylinders at ₹500, and employment opportunities for youth. He said these initiatives are bringing positive changes to the lives of people.

Later, a cake was cut at the residence of Sarpanch Udayasri Chandrasekhar Reddy to celebrate the birthday of Rahul Gandhi.

Congress leaders Vemulapalli Vasudeva Rao, Bodupula Harikrishna, Kodirekka Edukondalu, Abdul Rahim, Nagula Vasu, Chilumula Sunil Reddy, Tangella Karunakar Reddy, Elimineti Abhinay Naidu, Nagu Naik, Padidala Ravi, Wajid Miya, Ramesh Rao, Buddha Venkanna, and others participated in the programme.
