High Alert in Delhi: Intelligence Warns of Lashkar-e-Taiba Terror Plot

New Delhi, Feb 21: Intelligence agencies have warned of possible terrorist attacks in the national capital. It has been reported that Pakistan-based terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) is planning attacks near Delhi’s Red Fort and temples in the Chandni Chowk area. Large quantities of explosives may be used in these attacks. Authorities also cautioned that crowded places in major cities across the country could be targeted.

Security agencies have declared a high alert in Delhi. Additional personnel have been deployed in sensitive areas, and bomb squad teams have been mobilized. Police have urged locals to immediately report any suspicious individuals.

In light of last year’s terror attack near the Red Fort, officials are on heightened alert following these intelligence warnings. Orders have been issued to all state governments to tighten security in Delhi and other major cities.
