Hyderabad: A sacred sprinkling ceremony of the holy waters from the Yamuna Pushkaralu, held this year in the state of Uttarakhand, took place today at Suvarna Bharati Goshala in L.B. Nagar.

On the occasion of the Yamuna Pushkaralu, Brahma Sri Srinivasa Bangarayya Sharma, founder of Tattvam Charitable Trust, visited several sacred pilgrimage sites in Uttarakhand, including Badrinath and Yamunotri, and brought the holy water from there to Hyderabad.

Subsequently, the sacred water was sprinkled on hundreds of devotees at the goshala. Geetha Murthy, a BJP National Council Member, attended the event as a special guest, received the holy water, and performed Go Puja (cow worship) on the occasion of a cow giving birth to a calf at the goshala earlier that day.

Among those who participated in this sacred event were VHP leader Raji Reddy, Srikanth, Rajitha, Rajeswari, Income Tax Officer Sri Ramakrishna, Smt. Raga Sudha, and many other devotees.

On this occasion, Bangarayya Sharma also brought and displayed a sample of the Deodar tree from a sacred site in Uttarakhand. He reminded devotees of the belief that Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati are manifested there as separate Deodar trees that have grown together as one.

The devotees who visited the goshala expressed great happiness at having the opportunity to participate in this pious event during the auspicious Adhika Jyeshtha month.
