Y. S. Jagan Participates in the Inauguration of Gattu Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple
Pulivendula: YSR Congress Party President and former Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy participated in the inauguration ceremony of the newly constructed Gattu Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple in Bhoomayya garipalle village of Vemula Mandal on Wednesday as part of his Pulivendula tour.
Upon his arrival at the temple, priests accorded him a grand welcome with a Purna Kumbham ceremony amid the chanting of Vedic hymns. He then took part in the temple inauguration and performed special prayers.
On the occasion, Y. S. Jagan participated in the Kalasha Shankusthapana (foundation ritual) and also attended the Sudarshana Homam being conducted for the deity, offering special prayers.
He expressed his wish that the blessings of Lord Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy continue to be bestowed upon all the people and devotees of the state. He prayed for the well-being, happiness, long life, and good health of the people. He also warmly interacted with devotees and villagers present at the temple premises.
Following the temple event, Y. S. Jagan visited the residence of senior YSRCP leader Obul Reddy Srirami Reddy and met with his family members. As Srirami Reddy had recently passed away due to illness, Jagan conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
During the visit, he comforted the family members and assured them that the party would always stand by and support them. Remembering Srirami Reddy’s services to the party, he stated that his death was an irreparable loss to the YSR Congress Party. A large number of party leaders, workers, supporters, and admirers attended the tour and accorded a warm welcome to Y. S. Jagan.
