CG Power bags Rs 900 cr US order for power transformers

Chennai, Jan 18: Murugappa Group–owned CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited, a leading engineering conglomerate, has clinched a landmark order worth approximately Rs 900 crore (USD 99.2 million) from Tallgrass Integrated Logistics Solutions LLC, USA, for the supply of power transformers.
The order is for a large-scale data center project in the United States. This order represents a strategic milestone, marking CG Power’s entry into the global data center segment, one of the fastest-growing segments.
According to the company, this is the largest single order ever won by it and is a direct export order for the supply of power transformers.
Under the contract, CG Power will supply power transformers, specifically engineered to meet the stringent reliability, efficiency, and uptime requirements of hyperscale data center applications.
This order will be executed over a delivery period of 12 to 20 months, with delivery terms FAS Mumbai Port (Incoterms® 2020).
