NSE IPO Set to Open on September 17; Price Band Fixed at ₹1,700–₹1,785

MUMBAI: Ending nearly a decade of regulatory delays and market anticipation, the National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE) has officially set the timeline for its landmark Initial Public Offering (IPO). The mega public issue will open for subscription on Thursday, September 17, 2026, and close on Monday, September 21, 2026.

Bidding for anchor investors will take place on Wednesday, September 16, while shares are slated to list on the rival BSE on September 24. At an issue size of up to ₹22,569 crore at the upper end of the price band, the NSE IPO is set to become India’s second-largest public offering to date, trailing only Hyundai Motor India’s 2024 issue.

The offer is entirely an Offer for Sale (OFS) of 12.64 crore equity shares, meaning the exchange itself will not receive any capital proceeds; all funds raised will go to the selling shareholders.
