Hyderabad: The Indian Army will conduct a recruitment rally under the Unit Headquarters Quota at Mukhtair Hall, AOC Centre, Secunderabad, from February 2 to May 10, 2026.
The rally will enrol candidates for Agniveer General Duty (GD), Clerk/SKT (AOC ward only), Tradesmen, Outstanding Sportsmen and Trade 10th Musicians.
Outstanding sportsmen who have represented in Athletics including Track and Field events, Swimming & Diving and Weight Lifting; Represented India at International level; Represented State at the Senior/Junior national level and have won any medal in individual event or have reached up to eighth position in team events can participate along with their certificates. The certificates should not be more than two years old on the date of screening. Sportsmen must report on February 2 and musicians on February 4 at 6 am. Eligible candidates aged 17½ to 21 years can apply.
Educational qualification for Agniveer General Duty (GD) is Class 10th / Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. Candidates with valid Light Motor Vehicle Driving License will be given preference for the Driver requirements. For Agniveer Clerk/SKT, 10+2 Intermediate exam pass in any stream with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject, securing 50% in English and Maths/Accounts/Bookkeeping in Class XII is mandatory. For Agniveer Tradesmen (10th Std) – Class 10th simple pass (33%).
