Threats to Bollywood celebrities continue to cause concern. Recently, actress and singer Himanshi Khurana received a threat demanding Rs. 10 crore. She filed a complaint with Mohali police, stating that she received a voice note via email warning of dire consequences if the demand was not met. The mail was sent under the name Zeeshan Akhtar. Police have registered a case.
Himanshi earned recognition as an actress with the Punjabi film Sadda Haq and entertained audiences with albums like Jodi Bigde Party and Na.. Na.. Na. She also appeared in Hindi reality show Bigg Boss Season 13.
This incident follows recent threats to Bollywood director Rohit Shetty and actor Ranveer Singh, where a man identifying himself as “Harry Boxer” from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang sent WhatsApp voice notes, threatening to kill their staff if his demands were not met.
