Gaddar Film Awards 2025: Best Actor Naga Chaitanya, Best Actress Rashmika Mandanna

Hyderabad, March 7: The Gaddar Film Awards 2025 were announced today by the Telangana Government, instituted in memory of revolutionary balladeer Gaddar to honor excellence in Telugu cinema. The awards recognized both contemporary talent and legendary contributions to the industry.

The award for Best Film went to Raju Weds Rambai, while Best Actor was conferred on Naga Chaitanya for his performance in Thandel. Best Actress was awarded to Rashmika Mandanna for Girl Friend. In the lifetime achievement categories, Chiranjeevi was honored with the NTR National Award, and Kamal Haasan received the Paidi Jayaraj Award. The C. Narayana Reddy (Cinare) Award was presented to lyricist Suddaala Ashok Teja, and the Akkineni Nageswara Rao Award went to veteran actress Jayasudha.

The awards were announced by Telangana Film Development Corporation Chairman Dil Raju and handed over to Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka by jury members. The government has planned to distribute the awards formally during the upcoming Ugadi celebrations, making it a cultural highlight of the year.

This year’s winners reflect the diversity and strength of Telugu cinema, celebrating both mainstream blockbusters and enduring artistic contributions.
