Key Maoist leader surrenders before TG DGP
Hyderabad: Senior People’s Liberation Guerrilla Army (PLGA) commander and key maoist leader Barse Deva surrendered before Telangana Director General of Police B. Shivadhar Reddy on Saturday. Deva was a key leader of PLGA Battalion No. 1, considered the most lethal armed wing of the banned CPI (Maoist). Police officials said the surrender marks a significant development in ongoing efforts to curb Maoist activities in the region.
