Ram Charan and Upasana Name Their Twins Shivram and Anveera Devi

Hyderabad, Feb 13: Tollywood’s global star Ram Charan and Upasana welcomed twins on January 31 — a baby boy and a baby girl. On February 11, the naming ceremony was held among close family members with traditional rituals. In a recent interview with an English media outlet, Ram Charan revealed the names of their children. The boy has been named Shivram, and the girl has been named Anveera Devi.

Explaining the meaning behind the names, Ram Charan said that he and Upasana thought deeply about them. They wanted names that carried a spiritual essence. They also took advice from their parents. The boy’s name, Shivram, combines the names of Lord Shiva and Lord Rama, and also connects with his father’s name, Shivashankar Vara Prasad. The girl’s name, Anveera Devi, comes from ‘An’ meaning infinite, ‘Veera’ meaning courage, and ‘Devi’ meaning divine power — together symbolizing infinite courage and divine strength.

Ram Charan and Upasana married in 2012. Their first child, Klin Kaara, was born in 2023. In 2026, their joy doubled with the birth of twins. Ram Charan expressed his gratitude, saying that having two daughters and a son is a blessing. He added that women are the greatest strength in life and thanked his family, fans, and well‑wishers for their constant support.
