Nellore, Feb 22; A colorful coin with a train image! The front side of the Rs. 100 coin features the Vande Bharat train in color, released by the Central Government in January to mark 100 years of electric trains running in India.
Coin collector Mohammed Vayiz, from Anumasamudram village in AS Peta mandal of Nellore district, acquired the coin. He purchased it online on January 13 for Rs. 8,072, and received it from the Kolkata Mint on Saturday.
The coin, weighing 35 grams, shines with the colorful depiction of the Vande Bharat train. It is made of a mixture of 50% silver, 40% copper, and 5% each of nickel and zinc.
