Samsung Launches Galaxy S26 Series with Privacy Display Innovation

Mumbai, Feb 26: Samsung has unveiled its new Galaxy S26 series at the Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event in San Francisco. The lineup includes the Galaxy S26 Ultra, S26+, and the base S26 model. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is Samsung’s third-generation AI phone, featuring a 6.90-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a unique “Privacy Display” — the world’s first Android phone with this feature, which hides the full screen from side viewers. It comes with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, a 200MP quad rear camera system, and a 5000mAh battery. Prices in India start at ₹1,39,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant, ₹1,59,999 for the 12GB + 512GB variant, and ₹1,89,999 for the 16GB + 1TB variant. It will be available in black, blue, purple, white, and pink gold.

The Galaxy S26+ features a 6.7-inch Dynamic LTPO AMOLED display with 2600 nits brightness and a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a 4900mAh battery, a 50MP main camera, and a 12MP selfie camera. The starting price in India is ₹1,19,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant, available in white, black, blue, and purple.

The Galaxy S26 base model comes with a 6.3-inch display, a 4300mAh battery, a 50MP camera, 2600 nits brightness, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The starting price in India is ₹87,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant, available in white, black, blue, and purple.

Samsung has announced offers for pre-booking customers, including pre-reserve vouchers and 10% cashback on Samsung Axis Bank credit cards. Deliveries will begin from March 6, with availability on Amazon and Samsung India’s online store.
