The 2026 Wedding Calendar: Best Months and Dates for a Grand Vivaha

In Hinduism, marriage is considered the most significant of the 16 Samskaras (sacramental rites). To ensure this once-in-a-lifetime event is conducted auspiciously and according to Vedic traditions, elements such as the Panchangam, Tithi (lunar day), Nakshatram (star), Lagnam, and auspicious timings are mandatory considerations. This is why high priority is given to selecting a Muhurtham when fixing a wedding date.

The year 2026 is expected to be highly favorable for weddings. Specifically, many auspicious dates are available before Devshayani Ekadashi and after Devutthana Ekadashi. As a result, wedding celebrations are likely to be in full swing throughout the year.
