25 lakh rupees cash and 25 thousand rupees pension every month for Padma Shri awardees : Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy

Hyderabad , February 4 :: Telangana is the second most widely spoken language in the country, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said that it is a matter of pride for our Telugu people to receive Padma awards . Revanth Reddy was the chief guest at the Padma award honorees organized by the Telangana government at Shilpakala venue on Sunday. Padma Vibhushan award recipients were former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, film actor Chiranjeevi, Padma Shri award recipients Velu Anandachari, Dasari Kondappa, Uma Maheshwari, Gaddam Sambaiah, Ketawat Somlal, Kurella Vithalacharya . Speaking on this occasion, the Chief Minister said that it is the responsibility of governments to recognize and encourage poets and artists . Revanth Reddy said that it is the responsibility of everyone to protect the language and traditions and everyone should unite regardless of politics . He said that this program was organized to lay the foundation of a good tradition and this tradition should be continued like this. He felt that the artists who were born in the rural areas and are coming to them in the arts are left with claps and blankets and they are struggling even for their minimum needs . He said that to encourage the artists, the Padma awardee honorees have been formed and this is a non-political gathering . He said that the government will provide a cash prize of 25 lakh rupees and a pension of 25 thousand rupees to the recipients of the Padma Shri award . He said that Venkaiah Naidu is the only leader who has traveled the longest distance by road in India and understood the problems of the people . In the future, they also aspired to take up the post of President . In these days when there are actors who are proud when one or two films are successful, it is said that even after 46 years of tirelessly doing more than 150 films, it is good for a Chiranjeevi to be proud . Revanth Reddy said that his government will always be in the forefront to protect poets , artists , language and traditions . Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu and film actor Chiranjeevi handed over checks of Rs 25 lakh to the Padma Shri awardees. In this program Deputy Chief Minister Batti Vikramarka, Minister of Revenue, Information, Housing, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Cinematography, Roads and Buildings Minister Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy, Culture and Excise Minister Jupalli Krishna Rao, Government Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari, many public funds, officials and artists participated.
