India Stonemart 2024: Captivating Global Entrepreneurs with Unmatched

Rajasthan stands proud with its diverse and abundant mineral stones, holding a distinguished position in the export of these valuable resources. Beyond its historical and cultural significance on a global scale, Rajasthan is increasingly becoming a hub for foreign entrepreneurs, lured not only by its unique identity but also by its growing commercial relevance. Foreign investors are now embracing the warmth of “Padharo Mhare Desh” (Welcome to our Country). The ongoing 12th edition of India Stonemart at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Center serves as a testament to the brilliance of the stone industry. Renowned companies, conglomerates, representatives from Stone Industries Associations, and buyers from various leading nations are converging to showcase their products, conducting marketing initiatives, and exploring businesses opportunities here. In this premier national exhibition, Antonia Di Maria, representing GDA Marble and Granite from Italy, highlighted that their business organization stands among the stalwarts in the stone industry and they specifically opt for Jaipur as the prime destination to present and promote their products for marketing endeavors because Jaipur’s global recognition as a historical and tourist hotspot presents exceptional business prospects. He emphasized the suitability of their products for all kind of construction purposes. Meanwhile, Mahnaz Haji Ali, the director of Porfiman Marble from Iran, shared that they have been an integral part of the stone industry for the past 18 years. Her enthusiasm for participating in Stonemart has always been unwavering. She highlighted the rapid advancement of India, witnessing a continuous surge in construction and commercial activities. With Jaipur being a vital business hub in Northern India, it holds promising opportunities. Mahnaz emphasized the popularity of Iranian onyx marble in this region. Porfiman entered the mineral stone market in 2000, extracting top-quality Iranian marble, travertine, onyx, and limestone blocks from nearly 30 different mines. She expresses confidence that the evident upward trajectory in market demand will lead to substantial sales growth. Bekzod Fazulleov, representing Uzbekistan’s Foreign Economic Relations Department, informed that Uzbekistan’s mining machinery has been actively employed in projects in Rajasthan for an extended period. Displaying their machinery at Stonemart presents their inaugural opportunity, undoubtedly contributing to the enhancement of commercial activities between the two nations. A total of 411 exhibitors, representing diverse facets of the stone industry, are actively participating in this exhibition. These include producers, exporters-importers, consumers, buyers, specialists, technology providers, architects, builders, developers, corporate entities, and more. Among them, 85 exhibitors hail from 9 different countries, Turkey-68, Italy-5 , Iran-5 , America-2, 1 each from Vietnam, Spain, Russia, Ethiopia, and China. Noteworthy is the participation of 198 stone industry players, 195 tools and machinery manufacturers, and 18 exhibitors providing services related to the stone industry. India Stonemart is not merely a showcase of products; it’s an opportunity for business expansion and collaboration between participating nations. The exhibition is attracting attention with pavilions from Gujarat, Odisha, Karnataka, and Jharkhand states, along with Iran, Italy, and Turkey. It is noteworthy that India Stonemart, held biennially, is one of the largest stone industry exhibitions in the country. The 12th edition, organized by Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation Ltd (RIICO) and the Center for Development of Stones (CDOS) in collaboration with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), was inaugurated by Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma on Thursday.
