AP Minister Kollu Ravindra Hits Back at YSRCP Allegations on Heritage Dairy

Vijayawada, Feb 19: Andhra Pradesh Excise and Mines Minister Kollu Ravindra has strongly countered allegations made by the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) regarding Heritage Dairy, accusing the opposition of spreading misinformation and attempting to mislead the public.

Speaking to the media at the TDP headquarters in Mangalagiri, Ravindra said that the YSRCP, after “devastating the state on all fronts” during its tenure, is now resorting to false narratives to target the ruling party and its leaders. He alleged that the opposition is deliberately dragging Heritage Dairy into controversies for political mileage, despite its long-standing reputation in the cooperative sector.

Ravindra further claimed that YSRCP leaders had misused power during their regime, harassing political rivals and indulging in irregularities. He pointed to incidents involving local leaders, stating that such practices reflected the party’s disregard for democratic values.

The minister emphasized that the government under Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is focused on rebuilding Andhra Pradesh’s economy and restoring credibility in governance. He vowed to expose what he described as the failures and mismanagement of the previous YSRCP government, including issues related to liquor policies and financial irregularities.

Ravindra’s remarks come amid a heated political atmosphere, with YSRCP stepping up its criticism of the ruling TDP and raising questions about Heritage Dairy’s operations. The minister’s rebuttal signals the government’s intent to defend the cooperative’s legacy while turning the spotlight back on the opposition’s record
