“Don’t know how long will I live,” says U.S. President Donald Trump

Washington: U.S. President Donald Trump expressed concern over the series of assassination attempts against him. He stated that many people have tried to kill him and, looking at the current situation, he is unsure how long he will survive. Trump remarked that such shooters do not usually target ordinary presidents, but only those who achieve extraordinary success. He cited the assassinations of former U.S. presidents Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy as examples.

Despite these threats, Trump emphasized that he will not back down from the decisions he makes. He made these comments in response to a recent incident at his Florida residence, where an armed intruder entered around midnight on Saturday. The intruder was carrying a weapon and a fuel can. Secret Service agents ordered him to drop them, but when he refused, security personnel shot and killed him.

Trump has faced multiple assassination attempts in the past. In July 2024, during an election campaign, a man opened fire, and a bullet grazed Trump’s ear. On another occasion, police arrested a suspicious man carrying a rifle at Trump’s Palm Beach golf course.
