California, Feb 14: An Indian student has gone missing in the United States. Saketh Sreenivasaiah (22), a native of Karnataka, has been missing since February 9. Police have launched search operations to trace him.
Saketh was studying at the University of California, Berkeley. He was last seen near Lake Anza, about one kilometer from the campus. Authorities found his backpack at the spot, which contained his passport and laptop. Local officials, along with his friends, are conducting searches to locate him.
The Indian Consulate in San Francisco has responded to the incident, stating that they are in touch with Saketh’s family and will provide all possible support. They also confirmed that they are in constant communication with U.S. authorities regarding the case.
