Tragedy in Berkeley: Missing Indian Student Found Dead

An Indian student who went missing in the USA has been found dead. Authorities confirmed that Saketh Sreenivasaiah, a student from Bengaluru studying at the University of California, Berkeley, has died.

Saketh had been missing since February 9. He was last seen near Lake Anza, close to the campus. Following a complaint from his friend, police launched a search operation and discovered his bag containing his passport and laptop. Subsequently, his body was found in the same area.

The Indian Consulate in San Francisco expressed deep sorrow over his death and stated that arrangements are being made to repatriate his body to India at the earliest. The Consulate also assured full support to Saketh’s family during this difficult time.
