Hyderabad, Jan.20 : Kisan Congress National vice president and Member of the Dharani Committe
M Kodanda Reddy said a detailed inquiry is being done on the Dharani portal and its records and an interim report will be submitted to the State Government soon.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Saturday, Kodanda Reddy said the Dharani Committe was examining all modalities on the way forward with regard to the portal and the State government would bring Bhumata by rectifying the lapses in the existing system leading to teething troubles in land registration processes.
He stated that the land registration system in Andhra Pradesh is very good and the Dharani Committe will soon study to implement the best practices.
Kodanda Reddy said the new government headed by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy should be given at least one year time to set in order the institutions that were dismantled by the previous BRS government during the last ten years in Telangana and hoped that all problems related to the lands would be sorted out as early as possible.
The State government has recently constituted a five-member committee chaired by M Kodanda Reddy and retired bureaucrat Raymond Peter, land laws expert M. Sunil Kumar and retired special grade Deputy Collector B. Madhusudan as members. The Chief Commissioner of Land Administration has been made the member convenor of the committee.
