KTR Demands CM Revanth to Issue White Paper on Sircilla Land Allegations and Poll Promises

HYDERABAD: In a major political escalation ahead of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s visit to Sircilla, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President and local MLA K. T. Rama Rao (KTR) has penned an open public letter demanding a white paper on land encroachment allegations and the status of pending development projects in the constituency.

KTR urged the Chief Minister to avoid using his tour solely for political rhetoric and instead present clear timelines for the poll guarantees promised by the Congress government.

The central highlight of KTR’s letter involves previous allegations made by the ruling administration regarding land encroachments in Sircilla. The government had claimed that out of 8,000 disputed acres in the region, 2,400 acres had been recovered.

KTR challenged the Chief Minister to publish an immediate white paper detailing the exact survey numbers, villages, and mandals where the alleged 2,400 acres were recovered. He stated that if the administration fails to provide documented proof, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy must tender an unconditional public apology to the people of Sircilla.

The open letter pressed the state government across multiple sectors impacting local weavers, farmers, and urban infrastructure.

Demanded the immediate release of the pending 10% yarn subsidy, the restoration of the ₹5 lakh Netanna Bima insurance scheme, and progress updates on the proposed Yarn Depot, Weaving Park, and new units in the Sircilla Apparel Park.

Questioned the implementation schedule for the ₹15,000 per acre Rythu Bharosa assistance for tenant farmers, complete clearance of the ₹2 lakh farm loan waiver, and a firm timeline for lifting water from the Malkapet Reservoir to Upper Manair.

Demanded specific dates for fulfilling core election promises, including the ₹2,500 monthly assistance for women under the Mahalakshmi scheme, Kalyana Lakshmi gold benefits, ₹12,000 annual aid for auto-rickshaw drivers, and the clearance of long-pending fee reimbursement dues.

Demanded the immediate disbursement of pending government funds for the local JNTU Engineering College and the Mana Ooru – Mana Badi school infrastructure initiative.
