The combination of Nandamuri Balakrishna and Gopichand Malineni signals a “Mass Festival” at the box office. Following the massive success of Veera Simha Reddy, expectations for their second collaboration—NBK’s 111th film—have hit the roof. The suspense surrounding the film’s production has finally come to an end.
Originally, the project was planned as a period drama with a staggering budget of approximately Rs. 170 crores. However, keeping current market conditions and budget calculations in mind, that script has been put on hold. In its place, Gopichand has prepared a powerful, full-blown mass action entertainer tailored perfectly for Balayya’s image.
Balakrishna recently gave the green light to this new script, and regular shooting is set to commence this March. The production house, Vriddhi Cinemas, has confirmed the news. The team plans to kick off the first schedule with high-octane action sequences featuring Balayya’s trademark style.
Regarding the female lead, while Nayanthara was initially selected for the previous script, there is now suspense over whether she will continue or if a new heroine will be cast due to the change in story. Regardless, fans are confident that Balayya’s powerful dialogues combined with Gopichand’s direction will rewrite box office records once again.
