Panel submits report to DGCA on IndiGo flights cancellation

New Delhi: The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA)-appointed inquiry committee probing IndiGo’s mass flight cancellations in the first week of December is understood to have submitted its report to the Centre.

Though the contents of the report remain confidential, sources said that an Action Taken Report (ATR) is expected to be filed within the next 10 days, which will indicate the recommendations made by the committee headed by Joint Director General Sanjay K Bramhane. The committee was tasked with examining the reasons behind the large-scale operational disruptions, assessing the adequacy of manpower and reviewing the airline’s compliance with the revised Flight Duty Time Limitation (FDTL) norms.
