Hyderabad: The Telangana Legislative Assembly will resume its sessions on Friday, with heated exchanges expected on the floor of the House, a day after Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy launched a sharp attack on former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR) at a meeting with Congress MPs, MLAs and MLCs on Thursday. The House is expected to witness intense debate, especially over contentious issues such as Krishna and Godavari river water sharing and ongoing irrigation projects. The ruling Congress is likely to push the matter aggressively, with the Chief Minister asserting that K. Chandrashekhar Rao should attend the Assembly without any fear of being heckled by the Treasury benches.
