Bellampalli, Feb 14: Political developments have become interesting in municipalities where the election results produced a hung verdict. In Bellampalli Municipality, where no party secured a clear majority, three councillors have now joined BRS.
Out of the total 34 seats, Congress won 14, BRS 14, Independents 5, and BJP 1. Recently, Congress councillor from Ward 26, Ippa Kumarswamy; Congress rebel candidate from Ward 30, Sukeshini Bharadwaj; and BJP councillor from Ward 34, Kokkula Ramamurthy, joined BRS in the presence of former minister K.T. Rama Rao.
