Hyderabad: A Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee leader framed youth empowerment as central to both party building and national progress. Bandi Ramesh, a prominent TPCC vice president, kamma corporation chairman, and kukatpally constituency congress party in-charge, addressed a district Executive Committee meeting led by Saleem, the Youth Congress president. The gathering took place at the Sri Vasavi Kanyaka Parameshwari Temple in KPHB Colony, with Ramesh as the chief guest, signaling a strategic mobilization of young activists at the grassroots level.
Ramesh articulated a clear strategic priority: recruit and mobilize youth at every touchpoint of the party to sustain long-term electoral viability. He argued that political parties derive strength from the next generation, and that sustained, issue-driven engagement with the public will translate into recognition, trust, and electoral momentum. By framing public service as a pathway to opportunity, he positioned the youth as both operators and beneficiaries of the party’s growth agenda.
The meeting highlighted a coordinated youth-centric slate of leaders, including Youth State In-charge Bhavya, Medchal-Malkajgiri District In-charge Ram Prasad, State Secretary Ramya, and Medchal-Malkajigiri District Youth Congress President Bomma Ajay, among others. This lineup signals a deliberate effort to build a robust bench of young leaders who can organize, campaign, and govern with a clearly defined youth roadmap. Ramesh urged every level of leadership—from constituency to state to national—to unite and intensify their efforts immediately, citing a need for bold messaging around youth empowerment and development-focused policies.
Additionally, Ramesh referenced prominent national figures and broad strategic goals to galvanize support and illustrate the party’s potential to deliver tangible benefits to young voters and their families. By aligning local mobilization with national leadership narratives, the party intends to craft a consistent, resonant storyline that can be scaled across districts and states. The session underscored a deliberate, forward-looking plan to position youth as the backbone of both party resilience and overall national development, signaling a calculated shift toward sustained youth-driven political expansion.
