
New Delhi: The Ministry of Railways has announced 8 new trains from Hyderabad to improve passenger convenience. These trains will operate as weekly services.
Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy expressed happiness over this decision and thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.
There had been long-standing demands for regular train services from Hyderabad to destinations like Tirupati, Tiruchanur, Sri Ganganagar, Jaipur, and Bhubaneswar. Following discussions between Kishan Reddy and Ashwini Vaishnaw, the Railway Ministry approved these new services.
The trains will operate from major stations in Hyderabad, including Kacheguda Railway Station, Charlapalli Railway Station, and Hyderabad Deccan Railway Station.
Out of these, 5 trains will cater to pilgrims traveling to Tirupati and Tiruchanur, while others will connect long-distance destinations like Bhubaneswar, Jaipur, and Sri Ganganagar.
New Train Services (Schedule & Routes)
- Train No. 17607/17608: From Kacheguda to Tiruchanur, every Thursday at 9:30 PM – starting May 15, 2026
- Train No. 17601/17602: From Kacheguda to Sri Ganganagar, every Saturday at 10:00 PM – starting July 14, 2026
- Train No. 17047/17048: From Charlapalli to Tiruchanur, every Wednesday at 6:55 PM – starting May 7, 2026
- Train No. 17441/17442: From Charlapalli to Tirupati, every Wednesday at 9:20 PM – starting May 14, 2026
- Train No. 17443/17444: From Charlapalli to Tirupati, every Friday at 4:20 PM – starting May 15, 2026
- Train No. 17059/17060: From Charlapalli to Tiruchanur, every Sunday at 9:15 PM – starting May 11, 2026
- Train No. 17067/17068: From Charlapalli to Bhubaneswar, every Monday at 6:10 PM – starting May 5, 2026
- Train No. 17079/17080: From Nampally (Hyderabad Deccan) to Jaipur, every Friday at 7:50 PM – start date to be announced soon by South Central Railway
