CM Revanth Reddy Extends National Sports Day Greetings

Hyderabad: On the occasion of ‘National Sports Day’, Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy extended heartfelt best wishes to the sportspersons and sports enthusiasts.

On the birth anniversary of hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand, the Chief Minister expressed his hope that every sportsperson, drawing inspiration from him, should set their goals and achieve victory through determination, self-confidence, and continuous practice.

Stating that the government has undertaken prestigious initiatives such as a comprehensive Sports Policy, Young India Physical Education and Sports University #YIPESU, and the Telangana Sports Hub, with the aim of encouraging sportspersons and thereby establishing Telangana as a sports powerhouse.

Reminding that the best sports infrastructure and training facilities are being provided, he said that the government will support sportspersons in every possible way who bring honor to Telangana and enhance India’s prestige on global platforms.
