Employment-Oriented Industries to Drive Growth: CM Dr. Mohan Yadav

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) form the backbone of the Indian economy. Small industries are providing employment to crores of families across the country. The State Government is continuously encouraging the establishment of employment-oriented industries in Madhya Pradesh. Our objective is to establish one crore MSMEs in the state by 2047. MSMEs are the backbone of the state’s economy. The government’s goal is to promote industry in every district, employment in every family and opportunities for every youth.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India is emerging as a major global economic power. Just as the opportunity to take a holy dip during Simhastha comes once every twelve years, the twelve years of good governance under Prime Minister Shri Modi have provided citizens with an opportunity akin to an ‘Amrit Snan’. The MSME sector has undergone a remarkable transformation under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership during the past twelve years.

He inaugurated the programme by lighting the ceremonial lamp. The event commenced with the rendition of Vande Mataram. A short film highlighting MSME and StartUp promotion initiatives in the state was also screened on the occasion.

During the last two-and-a-half years, 30 new industrial areas and 14 clusters have been approved, and 1,063 plots have been allotted to entrepreneurs. The state aims to develop 60 new industrial areas and clusters and allot more than 6,000 plots to new entrepreneurs over the next two-and-a-half years. Government assistance is not merely a subsidy but a means to accelerate entrepreneurs’ dreams. It will lead to the establishment of new industries, increased production and a stronger local economy.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the MSME sector is the largest generator of employment and will create new opportunities for youth, women and rural entrepreneurs. Products manufactured in Madhya Pradesh are now reaching not only national but also international markets. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has resolved to transform this situation, and under his leadership the state is witnessing rapid industrial growth. The government’s policies are enabling young entrepreneurs to establish their identity at both national and global levels.
