Karimnagar Collector Reviews New Collectorate Works Ahead of CM Visit

Karimnagar: District Collector Chitra Mishra directed officials to ensure that the new Karimnagar Collectorate is fully prepared for inauguration with all necessary facilities and infrastructure in place. Accompanied by Police Commissioner Ghaus Alam, she inspected the ongoing construction works at the new Collectorate building on Saturday.
The Collector reviewed the progress of works related to the main entrance gate, compound wall, and other infrastructure facilities. She instructed Roads and Buildings Department officials and the contractor to complete all pending works on a war footing and ensure that no deficiencies remain before the inauguration. She emphasized that all development and infrastructure works must be completed ahead of the Chief Minister’s proposed visit.
Later, the Collector inspected the helipad site being developed in connection with the Chief Minister’s visit and reviewed security arrangements with officials. She also examined the route from the helipad to Ambedkar Stadium and directed officials to ensure smooth movement of vehicles and visitors.
The Collector and Police Commissioner reviewed security measures, traffic management, protocol arrangements, and steps to prevent inconvenience to the public during the Chief Minister’s visit. They urged all departments to work in close coordination to ensure the successful conduct of the programme.
Additional Collector (Revenue) D. Srinivas Reddy, R&B Executive Engineer Narasimhachari, Karimnagar Town ACP Venkataswamy, and officials from various departments were present during the inspection.
