Thummanapet, March 2: Fresh off their fairytale wedding in Udaipur, Tollywood’s most beloved couple, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, arrived in the actor’s native village of Thummanpet in the Balmoor mandal of Nagarkurnool district today.
The visit, which has sent local fans into a frenzy, is centered around the housewarming ceremony of Vijay’s newly constructed farmhouse. The couple, fondly referred to by fans as “ViRosh,” is returning to their roots to seek ancestral blessings before their grand industry reception later this week.
Spiritual Celebrations and Traditions
The couple began the day’s festivities with a Satyanarayana Swamy Vratham, a traditional Hindu ritual often performed by newlyweds to ensure prosperity and harmony in their new life together.
Dressed in traditional attire—Vijay in a crisp white kurta and Rashmika in a radiant green and gold Kanjeevaram silk saree—the couple appeared deeply rooted in culture. This visit follows their recent spiritual stop at the TTD temple in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, where they were seen seeking divine blessings.
