Stop Contesting ‘Rigged’ Polls: CJP Chief Abhijeet Dipke Urges Opposition Parties

NEW DELHI: In a sharp escalation over the ongoing credibility crisis surrounding the Election Commission of India (ECI), Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder and National Convener Abhijeet Dipke urged all opposition parties to completely boycott upcoming elections, arguing that their continued participation validates a “rigged” process and shields the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from true exposure.

Dipke’s statement follows reports revealing that Election Commissioners Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Vivek Joshi had formally recorded internal objections on at least 14 occasions regarding the ECI’s Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter rolls and software modifications executed without full consensus. Addressing opposition leaders directly, Dipke argued that contesting elections under a compromised system creates a false illusion of a free and fair democracy, comparing occasional opposition state victories to “crumbs” offered in a fixed match to maintain participation.

Demanding a unified stance over selective outrage, the CJP chief reiterated his 48-hour deadline for Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar to resign over alleged unauthorized voter deletions and announced a nationwide “Jantar Mantar 2.0” protest campaign starting from Mumbai on October 2 to press for comprehensive electoral reforms.
