TGPSC Cancels 2022 Degree College Lecturer Recruitment Drive

HYDERABAD: The Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) has officially scrapped Brief Notification No. 33/2022, which was originally issued on December 31, 2022, for the recruitment of 544 positions in government degree colleges across the state.

The decision directly impacts hiring for Assistant Professors (Lecturers), Physical Directors, and Librarians under the Collegiate Education Department. In a web note published on the official portal, the Commission confirmed that after examining the totality of circumstances surrounding the recruitment process, it decided to withdraw the older notice in the public interest.

The Commission assured candidates that a brand-new recruitment notification will be released shortly. Aspirants who were preparing under the previous drive are advised to check the official portal tgpsc.gov.in regularly for upcoming updates regarding updated subject-wise vacancy breakdowns, revised eligibility rules, age criteria, and fresh application schedules.
