Three sentenced to life imprisonment in seven-year-old girl rape case Fast Track Court Judgment in Baloda Bazar District Baloda

Baloda February 1: A fast track court in Chhattisgarh’s Baloda Bazar district has given a crucial verdict. In the case of raping a seven-year-old girl, three accused were sentenced to life imprisonment. An accused in a rape and murder case in 2021 was only 17 years old at the time of the incident . Additional District Sessions Judge Prashant Parashar issued these orders. The orders were given on 29th January and a copy of the judgment was released on Wednesday. The accused were sentenced according to the IPC , POCSO and Acts. In a village near Baloda Bazar City, a 17- year-old man picked up the girl and raped her while she was playing near him. After that he killed the child along with his mother. Along with another accused, he threw the baby’s dead body into a well. After the dead body of the child was found, the police took up the investigation and booked a case against the three. Evidence was collected from 29 people in this case .
