MIVI Enters Smartphone Market with 5G Launch in India

HYDERABAD: Homegrown Indian audio brand Mivi officially entered the smartphone market on Thursday, September 24, with the national launch of its maiden budget handset, the Mivi One 5G. Manufactured locally in India, the sub-₹15,000 device aims to offer high performance, extensive battery endurance, and native call-noise cancellation to target value-conscious Indian consumers looking for reliable 5G connectivity.

Under the hood, the Mivi One 5G is powered by an octa-core 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone features a 6.745-inch HD+ display supporting a 90Hz refresh rate, alongside an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. Leveraging Mivi’s background in audio engineering, the phone introduces Mivi ClearTalk, driven by a proprietary Neural Voice Engine that uses real-time AI noise suppression to filter out environmental background sounds during phone calls. The device also houses a massive 6,000mAh battery with 18W charging support, a 50MP primary rear camera, an 8MP front camera, and runs pure Android 16 out of the box.

The Mivi One 5G will be offered in three storage configurations: the base 4GB + 128GB variant carries an MRP of ₹14,999 (effective price ₹11,999 with launch bank offers), while the 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB variants carry MRPs of ₹15,999 and ₹16,999, respectively. Available in five color choices—Blue, Pink, Green, Burgundy, and Navy Blue—the handset goes on sale exclusively via Flipkart starting October 8, 2026.
