NBEMS Declares NEET PG 2026 Results

NEW DELHI: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) officially declared the results for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2026 on Thursday, September 24. Medical graduates across the country can now check their qualifying status, overall scores, and All India Ranks (AIR) by downloading the official merit list PDF available on the portal natboard.edu.in. Over 2.65 lakh candidates appeared for the crucial entrance examination, which serves as the national gateway for admissions into MD, MS, PG Diploma, and Post-MBBS DNB programs for the upcoming academic session.

Alongside the rank list, the testing agency published the official category-wise qualifying criteria out of a maximum score of 720. Candidates in the General and EWS categories required a minimum 50th percentile, corresponding to a cut-off score of 262 marks. For General-PwBD candidates, the 45th percentile cutoff was set at 244 marks, while candidates belonging to SC, ST, and OBC categories—including PwBD aspirants in these groups—required a 40th percentile threshold, translating to 226 marks.

While the merit PDF reflects individual scores and ranks, NBEMS confirmed that official scorecards, response sheets, and verified answer keys will be made available via candidate login on or after October 1, 2026. With the qualifying merit list published, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and respective state admission bodies are set to announce the official counseling schedules for both the 50% All India Quota (AIQ) and state quota seats in the coming days.
