PM Modi to Visit Telangana in April: Focus on Major Infrastructure and Development Projects

New Delhi, March 21: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Telangana in the second week of April 2026. This high-profile visit is expected to focus on a series of developmental initiatives, including the laying of foundation stones and the inauguration of several centrally funded projects across the state.

While the exact itinerary and specific dates are likely to be finalized by the end of this month, official sources indicate that the visit will highlight the central government’s “Viksit Bharat 2047” vision. Key projects related to infrastructure, connectivity, and technology are expected to be on the agenda.

The Prime Minister’s visit comes at a significant time as Telangana pushes toward an ambitious $3 trillion economy goal. State officials, including Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, have recently engaged with the Prime Minister’s Office regarding pending approvals for major projects like the second phase of the Hyderabad Metro Rail and the Regional Ring Road (RRR).
