Hyderabad, Feb 14: Union Minister Bandi Sanjay stated that despite the ruling Congress party forming unethical alliances with BRS and AIMIM to defeat the BJP in the municipal elections, the people have blessed the BJP. Addressing a press conference at the BJP state office, he said that since the BJP has won the majority of seats and independent candidates have joined them, they have crossed the required “magic figure” and will strategically secure the Karimnagar Mayor’s post.
He warned that if Congress and BRS act against the people’s decision, he would expose their secret agreements. He alleged that AIMIM always acts as a link between Congress and BRS in every election.
Expressing happiness, he said that it was due to the hard work of party workers and the blessings of Prime Minister Modi that they won in Karimnagar. He mentioned that so far ₹1,400 crore worth of development works have been carried out under the Karimnagar Smart City project. He thanked the people of Karimnagar for electing BJP candidates.
On AIMIM’s Revival Day celebrations, Bandi Sanjay criticized them, questioning whether they wanted to bring back the Razakars’ rule, insult women by making them play Bathukamma, or revive the old regime. He declared that BJP would not allow AIMIM’s games to continue, adding that AIMIM’s influence is declining with every election while BJP is growing stronger. He expressed confidence that BJP’s flag will fly high across the state.
He celebrated the victory by distributing sweets along with party members at the state office.
