Former CBI Joint Director V.V. Lakshminarayana Joins Megha Engineering Group

Hyderabad, Feb 16: Former Indian Police Service officer and ex-CBI Joint Director V.V. Lakshminarayana, popularly known as JD Lakshminarayana, has taken charge as Vice President (Operations) at EV Trans Private Limited, a subsidiary of Olectra Greentech under the Megha Engineering Group.

Lakshminarayana, a 1990-batch IPS officer of the Maharashtra cadre, earned national recognition during his tenure at the Central Bureau of Investigation between 2006 and 2013, where he supervised several high-profile investigations including major economic and corruption-related cases.

An alumnus of NIT Warangal in Mechanical Engineering and IIT Madras in MTech, he brings nearly three decades of public service experience marked by integrity, operational discipline, and institutional leadership.

EV Trans, focused on sustainable transport and electric mobility solutions, expressed confidence that Lakshminarayana’s leadership will strengthen its operational strategies and help expand its footprint in India’s fast-growing EV sector.
