PRSIHyderabad enters into MOU with St. Ann’s College for Women and CBIT

Hyderabad: The Public Relations Society of India, Hyderabad Chapter signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with St.Ann’s College for Women, Mehdipatnam, Hyderabad and another MoU with Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology, (CBIT) Kokapet, Hyderabad on 22nd June, 2026.

The collaboration aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry. *The MoU was signed under the initiative of “Nalanda Student’s Forum” launched by the National Council of PRSI to benefit college students* to train them in the field of PR & Communications, develop various skills, organise seminars, field visits and workshops apart from generating internship opportunities. So far the PRSI has in total 13 MoUs are signed with various colleges in the twin cities.

Dr. Vijaya Rani, Principal of St. Ann’s College, who signed the MoU expressed her enthusiasm about the partnership saying PRSI can connect academics with industry and can play an important role for providing internship”. Dr. K. Y. Giri, Chapter chairman of PRSI along with Sri Krishna Baji, Convenor of Nalanda Student’s Forum , Ln. Sri K. Govindraj, Past Chairman, Dr. Fatima Raheem, Co-Convenor, Sri Hamed Bin Sayeed Committee Member, Dr. Bharati, HOD, Journalism and Mass Communication, Smt. K. Nandini, Faculty were present. Sri Krishna Baji, Convenor listed the achievements of the Chapter and the benefits the student community who will gain under the Nalanda initiative. Lion Sri K.Govindraj, gave a presentation on the various aspects of PR and Communication and how the Students can shape their career.

The MoU at the CBIT was signed by the Principal of the College Dr. CV Narasimhulu, who expressed happiness about the partnership saying ‘Our Motto is Connecting academics with Industry” and PRSI can make it possible in enhancing that vision. Dr. K.Y.Giri, Chapter Chairman of PRSI along with Sri Krishna Baji, Convenor of Nalanda Student’s Forum, Lion Sri K. Govindraj, Past Chairman, Dr. Fatima Raheem, Co-convenor, Sri Hamed Bin Sayeed Committee Member were present from the PRSI forum. Also present were Dr. P. Prabhakar Reddy, Director Academics, Dr. V. Barla, Prof. & Advisor, Dr. UK Choudhary, Director, I & I and Dr. GNR Prasad , Professor and PRO of CBIT were at the MOU signing ceremony.
