
Hyderabad, Jan 31: The Department of School Education, Telangana, has officially released the provisional answer key (primary key) and candidate response sheets for the Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TG TET) 2026 today, January 30. Candidates who appeared for the exam held earlier this month can now verify their answers on the official website.

The TG TET January 2026 session saw a significant turnout, with approximately 2,37,754 applications submitted. This included over 71,000 in-service teachers following recent mandates for uniform qualification standards.

How to Check Your Results
Candidates can estimate their potential scores by comparing their response sheets against the official primary key. To download the documents:
- Visit the official portal at tgtet.aptonline.in.
- Click on the link for “Download Response Sheet” or “Initial Key”.
- Log in using your Journal Number, Hall Ticket Number, and Date of Birth.
- Select the specific paper (Paper I for primary or Paper II for upper primary) to view the PDF.
Raising Objections
The department has opened a window for candidates to challenge any discrepancies found in the provisional key.
- Deadline: Objections must be submitted online by February 1, 2026, 5:00 PM.
- Process: Candidates must provide valid documentary evidence or academic proof for each challenge.
- Fee: A fee of ₹200 per objection is required, payable online.
Note: The final answer key will be prepared after an expert committee reviews all submitted objections. The official results and scorecards will be based solely on the final key.
What’s Next?
Once the objection window closes, the final results are expected to be announced in mid-February. Qualifying the TG TET is a mandatory requirement for candidates seeking teaching positions in government, private-aided, and unaided schools across Telangana.
