Mumbai: The Maharashtra government is considering an innovative rule to control child marriages. Women and Child Welfare Minister Aditi Tatkare said that they are planning to introduce a new regulation making it mandatory to print the bride and groom’s dates of birth on wedding invitations in the future. She announced that the matter will be discussed in the Assembly and a final decision will be taken.
