Amaravati February 8 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly adjourned indefinitely. Speaker Tammineni Sitaram said that the Legislative Assembly is adjourned. However, it is noteworthy that the Speaker hesitated while counting the number of party members in the Legislative Assembly. Speaking about his experiences in the House, the Speaker mispronounced the number of members. Speaker Tammineni Sitaram, who mentioned the number of YCP members as 151 , has wrongly said the number of TDP members. The number of TDP members is said to be only 2 . Janasena is one and the number of vacant seats is one. Speaker said the total number of members is 175. TDP and YCP MLAs wished Speaker Tammineni Sitaram on his birthday immediately after the meeting of AP Assembly started on Thursday morning . Then Speaker Tammineni Sitaram rejected TDP’s adjournment motion on job calendar. The TDP members insisted on discussing the adjournment resolution. The speaker came to the podium and shouted slogans. This caused confusion in the House. Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy has proposed amendments to the Electricity Duty Bill amid the chaotic situation.
