Dr. Kota Neelima Urges Voters to Stay Vigilant During Electoral Roll Revision

Hyderabad: PCC Vice President and Sanath Nagar Assembly Constituency Congress Party In-charge Dr. Kota Neelima on Saturday urged eligible voters to remain alert during the ongoing electoral roll revision process, warning that failure to participate in the verification exercise could lead to the deletion of names from the voter list.
Dr. Neelima conducted a field inspection of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) Enumeration Forms exercise at Booth Nos. 120 and 121 in CC Nagar of Bansilalpet Division. She was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner and Electoral Registration Officer Sujatha, Booth Level Agent Augustine, Booth Level Officer Aruna, local Congress leaders, and party workers.
As part of the inspection, Dr. Neelima visited households, distributed enumeration forms, and created awareness among residents on the importance of verifying their voter details. She appealed to citizens to carefully fill out and submit the forms provided by Booth Level Officers without delay.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Neelima said the right to vote is one of the most sacred rights in a democratic system and must be protected by every eligible citizen. She cautioned that negligence during the revision process could result in eligible voters losing their names from the electoral rolls.
“Every eligible voter must ensure that their name is included in the voter list. People should verify their details, correct errors if any, and submit the enumeration forms on time to safeguard their voting rights,” she said.
Dr. Neelima also urged election officials to exercise diligence and ensure that no eligible voter is left out during the revision process. She called upon local Congress leaders to remain vigilant, assist residents in filling out forms, and immediately address any doubts or concerns raised by the public.
Reaffirming the Congress Party’s commitment to protecting the voting rights of citizens, Dr. Neelima said the party would closely monitor the distribution and submission of SIR enumeration forms and extend necessary support to people throughout the exercise.
She stressed that the strength of India’s democracy depends on the active participation of every eligible voter and their determination to safeguard their constitutional right to vote.
